We are currently seeking an ENT Consultant – Head of Service to support the delivery and clinical leadership of our ENT services. This remote position offers an excellent opportunity to join our team and contribute to the continued development of our services, with flexibility aligned to clinicians’ availability.

About the Role

CHEC is looking to recruit an experienced ENT Consultant - Head of Service to provide clinical leadership and support the continued development of our community ENT services. The successful candidate will work remotely while contributing to the oversight, development and quality of ENT clinical services delivered across our community clinics.

Our community ENT service provides patients with rapid access to specialist opinion and high-quality care within convenient community clinic settings.

 

The role may include:

  • Providing clinical leadership and oversight for the ENT service
  • Supporting the development and continuous improvement of clinical care pathways
  • Supporting GPs with Extended Roles (GPwER) in ENT, including mentoring, teaching and participation in annual appraisal processes
  • Participation in clinical governance, audit and research activity relevant to the ENT service
  • Supporting service development and maintaining high standards of clinical quality and patient care
  • Working collaboratively with operational and clinical teams across the organisation

Essential requirements:

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • CCT in ENT and inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register
  • Demonstrable experience working within ENT services
